The peryton watched the beautiful banded woman before him, intently focused on her features. He had been so alone for so long, that seeing another canine, another one with wings only registered to him as a kindred soul right away. His bright eyes watched her movements, the flustered way she seemed to get when he complimented her. “H - hi, I - um - I’m Chickadee, I’m from Sabertooth.” Chickadee. Yet her wings looked to resemble more of a hawk. He smiled softly, craning his head at the odd thing he noticed.
“Who are you? Where are you from?” He gave a nervous laugh, realizing he had forgotten to introduce himself. "My name is Hael, and I'm from here. My mother had me and my sister outside of a pack, I never joined one even after I wandered away from them." He said sheepishly. "The forest has been my home. Not many come out here. So why are you here?" He asked, a faint glow emanating caught his attention as he finished his sentence. A pink line connected him to her by their chests. A small gasp left his lips. "Soulmate." He whispered, just barely able to speak the words. His icy gaze once more looked up to her, a smile lit across his face. "The fates have seemed to decide already. Be mine, and I'll be yours?"
