The peryton was amazed at the idea of having a soulmate, so much so that he hadn’t even heard her speak asking about his sister. He watched the tie, before looking to her and asking her to be his. “You - you would be my mate?” He nodded happily, a smile spread clear across his face as she stepped closer to him. “I - I would be yours, Hael.” He stepped closer to her, nuzzling into her flank. "Then I am yours, Chickadee." He spoke softly into her fur.
The anxiousness of meeting another creature like himself seemed to fall away, now all he felt was the feelings of the tie. She was his mate. His soulmate. "Where do we go from here?" He asked softly, his icy gaze looking back to meet hers. It was a genuine question, he had never had a mate or interest in another before like this. Was he to follow her to her pack? Were they to mate? He wouldn’t mind, but he wanted clarity on the situation at hand.
