Hael was a charming fellow. Chicka blushed as she gazed into his aqua eyes, aquamarine that seemed to match her own. “So you have a sister, then? Is she packless too?” Chickadee hadn’t ever seen a woman who looked like Hael. She was about to inquire who his parents were and answer the male’s question as to why she was here, but then the pink tie sprouted from Chickadee’s chest to Hael’s, and she could only gape at it in shock.
The girl’s mother and father had been bound by a soulmate tie, before her father Tiberias’ death. It took a minute for Chickadee to overcome her shock - even though she had expected this somewhere in the back of her mind, since she was the product of a soulmate tie between two other young wolves long ago. She looked slowly back up to Hael. “You - you would be my mate?” She stepped closer as tears sprang into her eyes, the thought of having somebody to love seeming too good to be true. “I - I would be yours, Hael.”
