Aya smiled brightly when Lucaya had greeted her back with at least some excitement. Actually, Aya could not really comprehend the emotion that Lucaya was expressing in her reply of ”Hi Aya, it’s good to see you!” as it was paired with a smile…that did not seem truly genuine? The teen lass was still trying to understand emotions, they were hard after all.
As Kanaya came in with Drevis and spoke, the crimson-skirted lass could tell her entrance was not a comfortable topic, but her daughter still had that coldness in her words, saying she was happy that they made it back safely. It was then Damian, Kanaya’s lover, jet out from the abyss of Hawthorne, greeting the three with a sense of worry, agency, and concern. As Damian had reached the three of them, their daughter introduced them to her mate and children...Kanaya listened, keeping eye contact as Lucaya listed names with the wolves nearby her. Her eyes, although intent with remembering, were flooded with a sense of guilt – Kan knew she was not the best of mothers, but she was trying. The names of her grandchildren that were not here currently, she may have more difficulty with. ”It’s nice to meet you Nibris, Skade, Bellona, and Helheim.” She spoke their names individually, bowing to Nibris, and smiling softly at her three present grandchildren. It was at this time Kanaya nuzzled her lover’s neck, whispering softly. ”I missed you my love. We are alright – I have some burns I have to tend to later although.”
Drevis listened as Lucaya had spoke to their mother and introduced people. The lass would make sure to remember the details as best as she could, the clone of Kanaya also listening intently. Compared to her sibling, Aya, Drevis had a better understanding of reading emotions, however, was still gullible. The teen would get a sense of what the other might be feeling, but Drevis tended to not address it, rather, push the emotions away if they were not positive. She already had enough of that from her sister and other siblings. Shortly after this encounter was when Drevis spoke to Lucaya timidly, and from what Drevis could tell, her older sister received it well. Her smile and words seemed genuine. ”They certainly suit you, Drevis.” This made the teen very happy, her tail wagging softly as she laid down.
Kanaya noticed as two additional pups joined the side of Lucaya, one painted with fur similar to their mother, but with the crimson hue on his tail was a tell-tale sign that he was one of their grandchildren. Her best guess could be Kodlak. The other was a wolf of a starry pelt, crimson eyes stark in contrast. The red eyes were from Lucaya, thus from Damian, yes? This pup must be Lahmer or Ruax. Shortly after their entrance, Lucaya began her announcement, to which both Kanaya and Aya listened to. Drevis, however, was distracted by this weird, ethereal string, extending from her body. Rather than make a scene, this teen observed the string, not bothering to look at where it was coming from, but rather its visual properties.
Upon the conclusion of Lucaya’s speech, it appeared as if there was a long pause. Kanaya would normally step forward in a private situation, but because of Lucaya’s semi-apparent dislike for her mother, the crimson-skirted, emerald eye lass was hesitant. Aya was surprised, looking around as it appeared as a few other wolves were starting to do. Aya, seeing Lucaya as a role model, but too scared to be the first to step up, was one of the many staying back. Her mother had taken the few moments necessary to muster up the courage, her black body moving forward at the same exact time as another wolf, a male, had stepped forward. Her emerald eyes expressed hesitation, letting this male speak first. ”Soonds quite guid. I’ve bin wanting tae study these abilities.” The male spoke, his words thick with some accent unfamiliar to Kanaya. It was then the mother, Kanaya spoke, making eye contact with her daughter. ”Well…” She paused, looking to the side before orienting her gaze once more. ”I would like to take you up on that offer.” Lucaya and Kanaya both knew that obvious reasoning, it was Kanaya’s original taste for blood that made the two females the threats they were today. However, Lucaya got a stamp of understanding, that is, she received a vampire mutation. That made her tendencies okay. However, Kanaya without this mutation, just seemed purely cannibalistic and insane.
Clueless of what might be going through the mother and daughter’s minds, Aya after seeing her mother walk up, bounded up herself, her tail wagging excitedly. ”I’d like to become a vampire!” Kanaya glanced to her younger daughter for a short moment before continuing eye-contact with her eldest. Drevis did not bound up like Kanaya and Aya did, however, Drevis’s emerald eyes found their way to looking at the male that had first stepped up. This strand that was coming from her chest as she lie down was connected to him. Once again, rather than making a scene with large movements, her eyes continuously darted from looking down between her paws at this string and to this unfamiliar male who was wanting to be turned into a vampire ‘just because.’ Whatever this string meant intrigued her. She’d be sure to meet with this male after the meeting concluded.
