The Dane enjoyed his peace since he had shown up to this strange kingdom, and maybe he would be able to share the peace. He quiet liked the way Fara looked at him, how she looked in general. She was quite attractive, funny enough she was giving him that butterflies in his stomach feeling. She introduced herself, though he told her he remembered her name. How could he forget such a beautiful fae? He then purposed the idea of her joining him in his den, though he meant nothing but innocence in it. She was cold, her wings surely felt like cold fire on her body with how thin they were.
He welcomed her in, traveling just behind her until she got inside. Their fur brushed together, and a chill ran down his spine as he felt his cheeks turn pink. He watched as she sat, sitting a ways away to try and make her more comfortable. If he had known her better, he'd have cloaked her in his giant wings already. He watched as she moved her wings, the beauty they were - That she was. He probably looked like a fool to stare in awe at her, her giggle quickly brought him back to earth. "Thank you, Bones. You're sweet." He nodded his head, a smile curling up from his lips. His eyes followed to where she looked for a few moments, she liked his home it seemed. Fair, as it was much warmer than an underground one and he made sure to insulate for the climate as he was shown to do by his mother.
Her words once more brought him in. "We're basically strangers. I don't want to be.. Tell me something about yourself? If you'd like. If it'd make you feel more comfortable, I could share something about me." His eyes flicked back to her, for a moment only fear had shown. He tried to recover that, hoping she wouldn't notice but it was possible she would. He wasn't very good at hiding his emotions, he never was. He put on a small smile for her, an uncomfortable chuckle coming from his jaws quietly as he pondered what to even say. Where to start.
"Well, I've been in Starfall for a few seasons now but I only just the day you met me unearthed." He looked to his paws, knowing it'd be good to finally open up to someone and let it all out. "Truth be told, I'm the brother of the King who loves just over these mountains. He's surely looking for me, if not out for some sort of scheme to pluck me from this den when no one expects it. He's why I've been hiding for so long . . . I couldn't hunt, I could barely scrape by with the food I'd scavenge, water was the hardest to find." He looked back to meet her rose gaze, a heavy breath expelling from his lungs as he finally felt his thoughts slipping.
"My brother has hated me since I was born with him, apparently I'm the offspring of another man but I shared the same incubation period with him and Bastian. He doesn't see me as a true brother, not even a Dane even though that's what we were all raised to be. But me and Bastian don't crave for a life of fighting and whoring. At least . . . I don't think I wish to fight." He gave a light laugh, though it was sad. "Honestly, I'm just so tired of running I'm beginning to think I've run out of options but to act like the monster he sees me as. I was running from him after he put me in prison, blaming me for his crimes, and when I finally could I ran. Then we ended up here and I've hid ever since until the other day." He gave another light hearted small laugh, shaking his head. "I . . . I'm sorry if I said too much. What about you, what are some things about you?"
