Her heart fluttered as she had finished speaking, waiting nervously to hear upon Bones response to her scramble of words. She had meant every single word she’d spoken though. It was true that Bones had saved her from herself - from the pit in her mind playing over every mistake she’d made in the past. Everything seemed so small in comparison of what could be with them. Everything around them seemed to vanish, as if they were the only two wolves from here to the ends of the earth. Fara and Bones. They could be a family- they could love each other when they had no one else in the world. Fara and spent her life trying to spread happiness and joy wherever she went. It had backfired on her back in her homeland. But Starfall could be a new start. Bones could be her fresh new life that she’d desperately been searching for. Her roses met his gaze, not wavering as he quickly began to speak, breaking the silence that had followed. "I know what you mean, Fara. I've felt drawn to you too, you give me butterflies... A feeling of peace, and hope." His words made her melt, she could feel her heart beating wildly in her chest. "You don't have to stay away. I don't want you to." Fara felt as if she could catch her breath again, knowing that Bones didn’t want to shy away from her, that he was there. "Please, don't be sorry. You've been my light in this dark world I've come to call home. You've made me feel good about myself for once, and I'm more than happy that I can do the same for you. I love you, Fara. I only want you." Blinking away some tears that formed at the happiness she felt in his words, Fara pressed against him more, their fur mixing. "I know it's sudden, but I'd like us to be together. I'd like to always feel this way, to be happy, in love, to feel light in my life. Before we do anything that would involve you giving yourself away to someone you're not bound to. Will you be my mate, and stay with me?" The woman couldn’t help the large smile spreading across her lips as his question lingered, their eyes locked upon one another's. The fae’s mind raced with pictures of of their future together, their children in the future, and their love growing forever more. Her head began nodding before she even spoke, the smile still upon her face. ”I love you too, Bones. I would be honored to be your mate. You’ve made me feel things I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. We get to choose our own destiny, and I choose you. Forever and always. I never want to leave your side.” She murmured, leaning up and gently licking his cheek, before softly pressed her cheek against his. ”I’m bound to you, forever. No matter what.” She murmured, her heart fluttering wildly. In such a short time she’d come to love the man protectively sitting next to her, his wing still wrapped around her smaller body.
