The Demon stayed quiet as he sat in front of his den, awaiting the strange appearing woman who looked so similar to his previous soulmate. What peaked his interests more than that was the fact that he had a second one, a second chance. His crimson eyes were soon enough met with someone so different than he had originally seen. His jaw literally dropped for a second and his breath held in his lungs. Though it was not common for wolves to gain these changes, he just . . . Wasn't expecting her to look so heavenly.
"Maverick." Her words reminded him to breathe as her eyes met his own. ”Thank you for saving me.” He gave a small nod. "Of course, I only wish I had gotten there sooner." He said softly. If he had, her brother might have been alive. His eyes didn't leave her, even when she looked away. Surely she was nervous? He was quite startling to look at, a demon to most. But her, she looked like an angel. What a pair. A small smile crossed his lips as she spoke again, looking at the thread that connected them.
”Maverick.” He began to love the sound of his name from her voice, he looked intently as he waited for her to continue. ”This…soulmate tie. I believe that’s what it is, from hearsay. How do you wish to address it?” He grinned at the woman, about to speak before she nervously blurted out some more. ”I would be happy to be considered yours.” He grinned ear to ear, a chuckle leaving his jaws as she quickly tried to "correct" herself. ”I m-mean, uhm, that I am happy to consider you…my hero! Y-yup, my hero!" He smirked at her.
"If you wish to so easily be mine, that'd be alright with me." He smiled genuinely at her. "I can't like, you're breathtaking Kelsea." He said, taking a deep breath as he watched her. He had forgotten for the time being of her resemblance to Daneliya. "What do you wish to do, Kelsea?" He rose to his feet. "Lay with a royal blood, have kids, what are your wants?" He asked her, looking to meet her gaze as he attempted to turn her head with his muzzle to have her look at him. "What do you need from me?" He asked softly. "We can have all of time to get to know each other, we could spend hours together under the stars, or we can head over to my den, hm? Or if you're not actually interested, no harm no foul and we can sever the tie. Only thing is it'd make us hate each other instead of . . . " He gave a soft chuckle. "Well, I'm sure you know."
Walk, "Talk", Think.
"Oh sweetheart, oh sweetheart, you're breaking my heart . . ."
