Apollo watched Misty’s face light up once he said he’d like to get to know her more. “I would too! That is to say, I want to know you. It would be silly to want to get to know myself. I already know myself! Anyway. I do love your bloodline, you look very vibrant and colorful. What’s your favorite color? Mine’s lilac. I like the really soft pinks and purples, actually. So. Yes, lilac.” Apollo’s bright hued sky pelt seemed to shine a little brighter at Misty’s excitement, he felt, happy, to be fawned over. No, that was not the right word. Rather, loved that someone wanted to get to know him, past the fact of being a prince. Wanted to know more about him, even if it was something as simple as his favorite color. Apollo soon returned the smile. He had to admit, Misty’s mannerisms were cute. The prince noticed the pink flush to the lass’s face, and that explained the behaviors. His steely eyes softened as he spoke, making himself comfortable as he sat near the Kappa. ”Lilac’s a nice color…” Apollo started, looking at his pelt of winter sunset, the bold hues that laid on it. Certainly, none of them were as pale of a purple as lilac. Hermes had that color moreso in his pelt. But one color on Apollo’s body stuck out enough, was a nice color. His pelt was more bright, warm colors at the moment, rather than the cool blues and violets that typically covered his upper body leaving those warm colors to his limbs. ”This orange pinkish hue here –“ he started, gesturing to somewhat of a bright coral color on his chest, ”That’s my favorite color. Don’t know the name for it though.” He said, softly smiling to Misty. His steely eyes wandered over her more, observing some of the new traits that he swore were not there moments ago. She had gained feline-like traits like his mother had recently, but Misty had more features like a lion. She also had a skull on her face, which is what Apollo’s attention went to more. That was a newer mutation, it had to be. He pulled his glance back to himself, observing his own sky painted bodice. Sure, it made him pretty, however, he lacked…uniqueness. Everyone in Starfall was gaining mutations left and right, some wolves even being lucky enough to have three, but here he was, with one. Apollo’s next words just rolled off his tongue, without filter. ”How do you feel with those lion like features and that skull that now is a part of you? Having just one bloodline makes me feel…inadequate.” Apollo’s eyes widened as he realized what he had just said, going to turn his head to look at Misty and take back his words, but pulled his gaze back to his paws, letting out a small sigh. ”It’s a silly thought, huh? I’m a prince, but…I don’t feel like one with just my sunset pelt.” Actions and thoughts and "Words."
