I may barely know you, but I will love you with all I’ve got.

Earth was enjoying the sunshine, laying in the soft, green, warm grass. He was happy to finally be one step closer to being an adult. “I’ll miss being a pup, but I’m relaxing right now,” thought Earth, smiling and stretching his back legs. “Ok, Earth. I think you might want to start thinking about getting a mate, so you can have some company. Because, once you’re an adult, I won’t be taking care of you anymore,” said Snow, looking at Earth. “Hhhhmmm? Eh, I don’t know if I want a mate. They can be kind of annoying sometimes,” said Earth. Snow cuffed Earth around the ears. “Your father was the best thing that ever happened to me. You are getting a mate, once you are old enough,” said Snow. “Aaawww,” said Earth. “Hey, don’t worry! I’m still thinking about getting one, too!” Said Frost, smiling. “Always the happy one,” said Fire, rolling her eyes. “Hush. Don’t be mean to the first born,” said Wind, cuffing Fire around the ears. “Ow, stop!” Said Flame, looking at Wind. “You guys need to settle down,” said Wave, standing up. “Wave, let me handle it,” said Snow, looking at Wave. “Fine,” said Wave, laying back down. “Earth, Fire, Frost, stop arguing like you don’t know better,” said Snow. “Whatever,” said Fire, laying down and going to sleep. “Well, I’m out of here,” said Frost, walking away. “Wave, Wind, Fire, go with Frost,” said Snow. “Ok, mom!” Said Wind. Fire continued to sleep. Wave poked Fire. “Wake up, mother wants us to follow Frost,” said Wave. “Mrrrph?” Said Fire, waking up and following Wave. “What was that about, Earth? You never argue, but you just did it,” said Snow, looking at Earth. “Well, I hardly talk period, so…” said Earth. “Doesn’t matter, go play with your siblings, or go find someone else you love,” said Snow. “You know what? I might try to see if anyone wants to be my mate later on,” said Earth, running off. “Anyone want to be my mate?” He called out, once he had gotten where his siblings were going.
