The Borealis looked to Hermes as he stood, anger seeming to overtake him and showing in his pelt. Her own began to dance quickly, signs of anxiety. Was Tarben that bad that others didn't like the pack? ”F uck Tarben…” Her pelt slowed. ”I’m sorry…but how did you end up there out of all places? Tarben neighbors Hawthorne, which neighbors us. I’m sorry for my outburst, lady Aurora.” She sat up, her plume curling around her paws again. She stayed silent as he paused.
”Aurora, I will get you out of those hellish icy lands to the best of my ability whilst not triggering another war. You can take my word for it.With me, Sabertooth would be your new solace…oh! Uhm…that is, if you so wish for it….” A smile graced her face once more as he stumbled on his words. "I would like that very much, Hermes." She said softly, her ears flattening. "Thank you." Then came the question she dreaded. Think. He tilted his head as she met his gaze.
A soft sigh left her lungs. "Well, I was a noble. Born and raised since I came out of the womb to be the Queen by marrying the Prince of our clan. All I was trained to do was be a wife, lead a Kingdom, fight if need be to protect myself. I was quite literally conceived to do all of this, and was lead to do so all my life until -" She paused, looking to the ground. "I spent the majority of my life training to be something I never got to be. Because when I finally met him, and walked down the aisle, he dismissed me. He refused me, for another. Not even a Borealis." She let out a deep breath, her eyes looking to meet his gaze once more. "Naturally, it was an outrage among my family and his, and so I left." She said, giving a shrug of her shoulders. She was tired of not feeling like she was enough.
