People have been known to canoe/kayak out there on their own. You're not suppose to but that doesn't stop people. And then they post it on YouTube. Don't know if this guy had permission, but the vid shows the area exactly as it appears. (He should have dropped his kayak on the other side of the river - its way closer to the shore there - I've been on both sides).
