Yes, you do get it! I do love the sounds of nature, except for those damn coyote murderers.

I know it's just how they get to eat and perfectly natural, but we've also seen them rip apart a terror-filled, screaming deer under a full moon only 100 yards from our back door. So we know what the giddy yips mean! The howling is eerie and kinda cool, but not those frantic, ultra-excited yips that follow a kill. If they would just kill the poor creature and eat it, I'd be okay with it even as I loathe the idea that it is so necessary, but eating it alive starting at its rear quarters prolongs its misery and terror for no good reason that I can fathom! The coyotes are not evil, it is just how they are made, so I also hate it when my husband shoots them dead because they are also living creatures that experience fear and pain. But he never tortures them and respectfully buries them afterwards. I feel for them all. Nature is incredibly cruel and capricious.
