It requires virtually ALL arctic, antarctic and alpine glacial ice to melt. While alpine glaciers worldwide are surging (melting) and in retreat, and ice packs in the Arctic, and Antarctic are diminishing in mass, its a long term trouble with a few exceptions. China, whose drinking water is dependent on Himalayan glacies, is concerned, rightfully so. Likewise for Boulder, Colorado whose drinking water comes from Front Range glacial eemnants.
