a mob affiliated night club owner. That murder was clearly to cover something up. Ruby didn't kill him out of personal outrage, he was clearly forced to by the mob that "owned him". He was later killed in prison. Most likely yet another cover up.

So many out there hated Kennedy for various reasons. Castro, the mob, the rumored CIA connection, and more. The mob for his affair with Marilyn Monroe and her death before it became known when she threatened exposure. She was involved with a mobster then too. RFK Sr was also cracking down on the mob, so there was that too.

My point being that even the killer of JFK deserved a trial in spite of the country-wide hatred of him for allegedly killing him. Same goes for those accused of murdering someone not well admired.
