Oh, he's certainly farcical, not much fun for those he attacks, but for the causal reader he can be humorous at times.

Much like my mother, not funny when she's attacking me for not doing something in respect of one of her latest delusional outpourings, like me not arranging the funerals for the four babies she had in the week since my last week, and she can't believe how bad my memory is for not getting on with it.

But, humorous at other times, like when I asked her if she had watched the coronation, and she replied that she should have been there as a member of the royal family, but her coach never turned-up. Or, sending me down to the office to check when Joe Biden had booked his appointment to visit her.

And, I almost splattered my tea, when she told me she thought some of the residents had dementia, in, err, a dementia care home, bless her.

Dreadful condition, but the dark humor acts as a coping mechanism.
