So, if push came to shove - My priority, would be the continued existence of Radio Caroline, not the existence of an old ship, that as always - is a hole in the water, you throw lots of money into.

They say that the difference between Americans and British is that if an American sees a man driving a brand new Lincoln Continental he thinks ' Wow what do I have to do to get a car like that ?'
If a Brit sees a man driving a new Rolls Royce he thinks ' Why should that man have a Rolls Royce when I don't have one ? How do I get it taken away from him ?'
Merv was obsessed with Radio London and then with Radio Caroline and as he could not become part of either I guess he wants to see Caroline fail so he can say ' Well I don't have it, but by my actions I have destroyed it '.
When we just keep on keeping on, his fury builds and builds. Maybe we will fail to save Ross Revenge but any such failure will have nothing to do with sad Merv.

Anyway, an amusing rainy day distraction. Keep doing what you're doing and nothing to divert you and your team from the mission to save the Ross Revenge, I'm sure.
