Chris England and Merv are different people. That is not the real name of Chris of course who has a quite different and very unusual name. But unlike Merv who delights in exposing real names. I will always call Chris, Chris.
I met him in the mid 80's and he always signed himself ' Crazeee Chris ', so he was bonkers even then but very clever.
In times when we were talking, he recalled how in the dark days of 1991 Merv would make interminable international calls to Chris urging him to use a ' legal opportunity ' to seize Ross Revenge, where Chris would humour him and then do nothing. Chris said that it was like having a conversation with 'The Mysterons'.
Chris England had/has a web site that used to be updated but not since 2018 and all it does now is post and receive right wing opinions.
Merv is still being Merv.

Is Mervyn really the same person as Christopher England? It's a real shame I knew Chris way back and he seemed to be reasonably level headed.
No, the Mad Hagger used the name John England, not Chris.
