OR, dare I suggest the Elon Musk approach?

I am NOT a lover of this guy, actually, the opposite!

However, apparently, he has sent emails to (I don't know how many) government employees, asking "Reply by telling me WHAT you have achieved this week?"
Failure to reply to this email will be accepted as your resignation!!!!

But perhaps a similar email to ALL employees AND management at the BBC might shake them up a bit...
