Mac, if the book was priced in dollars rather than pounds, do you think you may have been looking at it on Amazon.com (the american site) rather than Amazon.co.uk? I don't think a UK account can buy from the US site without setting up another account but I could be wrong. Also, it would need to be available for international shipping which could be pricy to say the least.
