None of us get out of this life alive, but we CAN try to live a fulfilling and good life. I am getting up in age now, too, but as I look back on my life, I think of the many blessings I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy, and still hope for more in the future. I also think of my children and grandchildren and hope to leave a better world for them. That is all I need to hope and work for really. And I am grateful.

Life is not perfect and never will be, but we can always try to make the best of it and cherish our memories as well as our hope for a better future for those who will carry on. To me, that is the meaning of “eternal life”… those who carry on.

Life is what we make of it. We can make a mess of it, or we can strive to make it better… not just for ourselves, but also for those around us and will come after us. After all, we are all in the same boat really… spaceship Earth.
