I was just presenting the explanation for a different theory. Partly because it may be correct and partly because it involves some really challenging (and therefore fun) mental effort to try and grasp.

I'm not in a position to state which is correct - and it's actually something I've looked into a bit...certain directions in physics are kind of a layperson-level hobby of mine.
