It is a physical construct that interacts with matter and energy. Each has distinct properties.
Some properties have yet to be clearly defined.
Like Gravity waves.
Some properties may actually be emergent rather than inherent.
Looking at you Higgs Boson
Some properties are undiscovered.
Dark Matter/Energy
