...he was in line to be a star on next year's defense, and we just watched him walk out the door. I know he's not Johnny Newton, but remember what the 2023 defense looked like when #4 wasn't on the field?
That's the marginal dropoff we're staring at this year... we have basically nobody at DT who projects as a + player at this level right now.
DTs just don't grow on trees... don't know how we let that happen... I'm sure there was tampering out the ass, but... gotta find a way to pay that guy.
We are gonna give up 200+ YPG rushing this year.
