It is kind of odd—I’ve been doing essentially the same workout for 20 years and had been plateaued for 12-15 years, and just in the last 18 months or so I made a fairly significant jump in my max weights, almost across the board, and have even added a bit of muscle. I maybe improved my form a bit, but I’m not really sure what changed.  Previous Message Man, I forgot how good that stuff feels.
