In the 2nd half when Duke adjusted to Dixon and started getting pressure, that’s when I feel like you saw the difference between Kaitin and Luke just when it came to reading the defenses and finding a way to make a play himself when things were going off script. The difference between a feel-good 9-10 win team and a team scraping by to get to 6-6 and make a bowl game can be really small, and I would argue that Altmyer was worth 3-4 wins per year each of the last two years. He just made so many clutch plays at the best possible time in games. Maybe (probably) we'll be worse off without Houser, but I'm excited to see what we can do without him. Senior Paddock came in and just gripped and ripped it.
Altmyer improved a bunch over his 3 years.
