College basketball just feels so transactional. Nothing against Domask, Guerrier, Harmon, and any other transfer we have gotten, but I just miss the days of 3 or 4 recruit classes where you followed them for 1 or 2 years of high school play, then you watched them develop into All Big Ten players (Brandon Paul, McCamey, etc.) or someone who becomes a great glue or have a huge senior moment (Tyler Griffey).
It just feels like there isn't an excuse for anyone to develop, it's just win now because there's a tool (transfer portal) that allows you do that.
This has been my old man yelling at cloud moment for the day.
