I know that being a California politician has toxic baggage associated with it, but if Gavin Newsom doesn't impress you, you're not paying attention. Whitmer and Newsome are the early front runners for 2028, and they both impress me very much. Previous Message Previous Message He was too old in 2020 (despite being the person who could beat Trump) and now he is even older. Let's not ignore the reality that he absolutely seems very very old, and every time one of his inner circle talks about his vibrancy, it just comes across as performative. If Trump wins, it's because the Democrats didn't run a better candidate. Previous Message By winning the most number of votes. The electorate chose him. And anyone who thought he wouldn't run again is either naive or willfully ignorant. And those who would argue that there were past modern presidents who chose to forgo their 2nd term should maybe look up how that turned out for their party. Previous Message He was just trying to rightly point out that Biden isn’t the correct path forward. How did we get to a solution that no one wants? Previous Message but if this schmuck really honestly thought he had a chance to beat Biden, he's at another level of self-delusion.
