If you’re citing CBT numbers (which is the closest for Cubs $231) Per Cot’s Braves $268.3 Blue Jays $249.9 Rangers $247.6 Cubs $232.8 Cot’s projected year end 40 man payrolls Blue Jays $229.7 Braves $229.4 Rangers $225.7 Cubs $218.6 Are you taking the Cubs CBT number and comparing it to the projected actual payrolls? Because the 3 teams you cite are all well into the CBT 1st tier threshold and the Cubs are not.
