....I got up on the roof with 2 hoses with spray attachments. Sure enough, about 8PM two cars pull up, 4 kids (all friends of hers) get out with rolls of TP, and they got greeted with a water war from the roof. Got 3 of them, and they dropped their TP rolls, ran back to their car laughing, and got in and left. I expected them to come back later, but they didn't. 2 of them came up to my daughter at school a day later and said we were the only house to challenge them. They said it was pretty funny. Maybe use non-lethal defensive weapons.  Previous MessageOn Friday, they hit my house and four others within eye shot of my house. I realize my actions have made things worse for sure, but the fact hasn't changed that it's not innocent anymore and it needs to end. Previous Messagebecause the owners react the best/most. If this has been going on for a few years they're passing it down to new students like a tradition. I'm picturing you chasing them down the sidewalk in your curling attire, ensuring you'll be the go-to home for years to come. In my opinion, less is more and they'll move on to something more fun if you don't give them a good reason to do it. |
