I think so Jeremy. Although the slight double entendre of the word "straight" would not have gone unnoticed. I did hear among SLers sneering comments about the "gay liberation road to socialism" being pursued by the eurocommunists but I think this was more about attacking their concept of "new social forces" and the broad democratic alliance than about being anti homosexuals. I don't recall any anti homosexual prejudices being expressed as such, although sometimes to ridicule a particular person's hypocritical public political stance or title tattle about peoples sexual dalliances in general. I don't think however SL were actively in favour of homosexuality, I don't think anyone could accuse them of that!
