A softball parent myself, the problem with LC softball is the parents . The way they speak about the coach, players and each other is overwhelming and disrespectful. My granddaughter could only dream to be on a team with that much talent. Any coach that gives their time deserves respect. The coaches job is to win, not cater to parents and prima donna players. Players have bad days and it’s the coaches job to recognize what’s best for the TEAM.
As a parent it is our job to encourage players to be good sports, to do their best and be them for them on the good days and bad days. You do a disservice to your child being disrespectful to coaches, umps and other parents. You teach your child to be entitled and that is what creates bad culture. The LC Headcoach has been a fixture in NWI Softball for 35 years playing, teaching and coaching. She was the one of the most dynamic players around. We played against her in travel and high school . She was always respectful and a great sport. Any school would be lucky to have her head up their program. Sounds like a lot of salty people to me. Good luck LC great talent, great coach….
