Unless it's some type of Paterno / Sandusky problem, where you wouldn't be able to live with yourself if you didn't sound the alarm, you close your mouth, pick up your chin and move on.

Stakes are too high, and time is too precious to do anything that could jeopardize opportunities going forward.
