The firefly was tired of being alone, maybe some time in a pack could do her good. Though she was still trying to figure out just who she was, once calling herself after what her parents called her - Arcadia. Now she liked to go by the name Nyx, it suited her better. The loneliness of the firefly forest made her feel like she was crumbling, it was rare she ever saw anyone out that far. But as she made her way out that night, someone else caught her attention. A silvery woman, gliding down from the sky. Perhaps a new friend?
"Hey, wait!" She began to chase after the woman, as she didn't seem to realize she had entered into the dead zone of Starfall. As she continued chasing the woman, she noticed a flash of light hit the ground, sending the silver furred girl flying. Nyx quickly leapt to try and cover the girl on instinct, before the blinding light completely took them both out . . .
