Jelethe was on an excursion around Starfall. Flying through the sky, she rejoiced in the wind of the dark night on her fur and blowing through her skin. Her glow was bright and strong. Her wings caught the air and glided. She was free from the tiring pack life; being an iota these days was a boring job. Jelethe was restless and wanted to train with the sigmas, though the queen had turned her down twice already. Jelethe’s queen was less than reasonable.
She carefully landed as a bright glow lit up the sky. Jelethe’s wings immediately pumped her up again as she realized it was a meteor going to land. She saw wolves down below. The woodlands were full of them. Starfall was filled with a magic. It was irresistible and she was glad she had the foresight to stay in the sky.
She carefully jumped the currents, gliding down as some of the wolves began to faint and collapse; she was wary. The meteor had struck. Jelethe suddenly felt like she’d been hit by an impact of light and stone as brightness flashed behind her eyes, and she only managed to not pass out by slamming into a tree as she quickly plummeted. Woozy, the Lamprydae woman perched.
“You’ll find yourself burning in h e l l!”
