WE DIE ONLY TO BE BORN INTO MONSTROSITY
The Hellhound was giddy with excitement. Of all things, he was given the opportunity to marry the very own mother of the Vampire Queen. This was just the pick up he needed after all of the horrid things that came of his life. His brother being the cause of a massive plague that killed their mother, his father wallowing in pity and guilt. He fantasized and rolled over all the ideas in his head of how to woo the widow. Surely he had a chance, or so he had hoped. His whole lifestyle in the pack was to be chosen by women, he could only hope she would choose him.
He walked with his head held high across the river to the Eastern side of the realm, home to Hawthorne, Sabertooth, and most Northern, Drekistone. Hawthorne stayed between the two, under the cliffs of Drekistone and separated only by the Ice Caps. His pitch pelt moved under the moonlit sky, uncertain as he came to the borders that smelled of only Lucaya and her family. Faint smells of many washed away with the weather, but the vampire smell clung to the trees. Spring was coming, the weather was warming up little by little each day. His massive set of horns staying lowered as he entered through to find the meeting grounds - As Lucaya mentioned he could. Tonight he was to meet her, and by the gods he wanted to make the right impression.
The Nightmare Prince followed his nose, moving to a clearing. Just short of it did he see a small flash of red, close by. He shifted his pace, instead going towards the flash. His head rose as Lucayas scent filled his nares, posture stiffening. "Chiodos has seemed more than happy to agree to this alliance. Amaya laws are usually in favor of the women as well, so he would surely be a loyal and good husband to you. He will be here shortly, tonight actually . . ."
He grinned, closing in towards the two and stopping just a couple feet from his bride-to-be and his new Queen. He bowed his head in respects. "Lady Kanaya, Queen Lucaya." He raised his head with a smile behind his mask of bone. "I'm Chiodos of Amaya, son of King Crowe and the late Queen Echo." He looked to Kanaya, his grin unwavering. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Kanaya. An honor. Your reputation says nothing of your beauty, but it should." He said confidently.
Walk, "Talk", Think.
