As the meeting ended, the firey femme looked to Kublai, and began to walk with him. Honestly, the Princess was slightly nervous at the idea of being claimed. She knew it was her duty, she knew it was her place. But the thought of becoming pregnant, the thought of bearing children, it spooked her. Soraya had done it so gracefully, she'd been told, when pregnant with her and her siblings. All she wanted to do was to make her parents proud of her. She'd caught a glimpse of pride in her mothers eyes as she had left the meeting with the feathered man. As they walked, the magical boy began to speak. "So you are Princess Lova? My former proper name was Kublai Khan, but I lost that title when I fell through to these lands I suppose. Kublai will do." She nodded to his words, learning his full name. Kublai Khan. It honestly was just as majestic as the man himself was. He was very different from the men currently residing in Tarben, less brutish and more understanding of a royal way. "I suppose I should tell you a little about myself if I am to lay with you every night. I was an only child, brought up by commoners. Everything I had I fought for, I paid for with blood. Your families ways are not unfavorable to me, but I could not let a commoner as that brute lay claim to such a beauty as yourself." The way he spoke of Ares made her smile, knowing that she felt the same way about him. Ares was a good pack member, but he was brutal when it came to Pack life. She prayed Dwyn would do okay with him, if she hadn't been claimed by someone else. "I appreciate it. I couldn't believe he tried to claim myself and Dwyn at the same time. Thank you, again." Lova smiled, continuing to waltz beside him, her black stilts not long enough to tower over him, yet enough to make her appear as tall as him. That's when she looked down at her chest, noticing a small pink string floating from hers to Kublai's. She stopped in her tracks, having heard this before. Soulmate ties. Was Kublai truly her soulmate? Easily he could sever it later in the future, without warning at any given moment. "Do you happen to know what this is, Princess?" Kublai had noticed the string as well. The girl nodded, taking a seat and wrapping her tail tightly around her paws. "I do know what it is. It's called a soulmate tie. I know a few others in the pack have them. They show who you're supposed to end up with. However, if things go wrong.. the tie can easily be cut. Or cut for no reason at all. I heard at the meeting Balerion releasing Guinevere from their tie. Just like that. No reason, other than he was claiming Lahmer, our Prisoner and a Hawthorne Princess." She murured, looking at the string, almost losing track of her sentences. She snapped out of it and looked to Kublai, her icy blue staring directly into his. "Kublai. I understand you've claimed me. If you're going to lay with me every night, and we have this soulmate tie, I need to know one thing. I'm not in the business to be claimed again after this. I need to know if you truly would stay with me, thick or thin. Sickness and health. I do not want to have to be claimed again, it'll save me embarassment and pain in the future." She spoke, her crown dipping to him gently. "I need to know you won't severe this tie just out of the blue. That you won't just leave randomly. I need to know that you're comitted, if we are to raise children in Tarben." Her voice became quiet as she looked away from Kublai, gazing at the treeline inside of Tarben territory. She wanted something like her mother and father had - a true love that would never be broken. Soraya and Beartooth, everyone knew of their legacy. They were the perfect couple, loving, and never fighting with one another. They truly were the embodiment of Tarben land. And that's all Lova wanted to be.
