The way that Kublai spoke, held himself, his demeanor, everything that he showed.. Lova couldn’t help but find herself tripping over her own feelings. Internally, she was melting. Or perhaps, she was melting his the ice that could be around his heart. Either way, something was happening. Something was going on that she couldn’t stop smiling over. He had promised her safety, love, and happiness. That wasn’t something she often heard in Tarben lands - especially from the brutes she’d grown so accustomed to. She saw relationships like her mother and fathers - sure, love was in tact but it was mostly about children. She also saw the way reckless men claimed women and had them bare children just to leave them high and dry. Lova didn’t want to live that way - no. She wanted love, to be cherished and to cherish. This was something she knew that Kublai could provide for her. And should they have children, she’d expect nothing less for them either. "I will give you the world if you ask, Princess. Anything you wish." His voice was soft and sweet, and a little piece of her coldness chipped away again. Soon she’d be nothing but a puddle of mush, heated up by the love and protection that Kublai so graciously offered her. As she had explained about the fears she had, as well as her wishing hope upon Tarben, his eyes softened. "As you wish, my Princess. I am truly sorry to hear of your loss." The woman shook her head gently, sighing softly. “Thank you, Kublai. Elden will be missed deeply.” She murmured, before sitting and wrapping her tail tightly around her onyx paws. She watched him, turning and finding a good place for their den. She couldn’t get over it - their den. She had someone now who would love her. Her split colored gaze watch him carefully as he began to work, getting his paws dirty. She worried about how his feathers would look once he was done, but after he stuck his head out of their den and gave her a smile, Lova couldn’t help but giggle excitedly. "Would you like to check my work, Princess Lova? I just want to make sure you find this suitable." She stood, heading over to him and gently rubbing her cheek against his. She slid in next to him, seeing he made it quite spacious. It would be enough room for the both of them, as well as possible children. It was comfy, cozy, a place she could call home. As she looked to the entrance, she saw she could easily see the dusk sky, the stars reflecting off the lake in front of them. Her eyes sparkled in the light before her gaze rested once again on her mate - her soulmate. He truly was just that. “It’s wonderful, Kublai. You’ve done wonderful work.” She praised him, allowing herself to lay down in the den, before getting a playful look in her eyes. “My dear, if you’d like to make this official - as well as help Tarben out in their numbers like my father so desperately wants..” She murmured, hoping she wasn’t sounding manipulative. She wasn’t wanting to force him to have children with her. “I’d be ready to solidify this. I know that I want to be with you, that you can promise me safety and love. I can promise the same for you. I promise to love you, to protect you, to cherish our bond and tie for the rest of our lives, if you’ll have it.” She could only hope that he would agree, but if he’d prefer to wait on children, she’d be okay with that too. She’d go at his speed, no matter how fast that was.
