The fire princess let her mismatched eyes reach his as she finished her statement, wondering how he would react. She'd basically just told him she'd be with him forever if he would have it. Their soulmate tie was too obvious to see, too obvious to ignore. Her parents would see right through her if Kublai denied what she had told him. Her heart raced as she watched him study her, feeling exposed from sharing how she felt about the situation. While Lova did want to hold Tarben up to its highest standards, she also wasn't a puppet for their amusement. The femme could feel the butterflies encroach upon her throat as Kublai began to respond to her vent. "I do not hold any issue with you for asking this, you don't know me well enough yet." his gentle chuckle and soft sigh made her heart melt. For some reason, this man was completely sweeping her off her feet and she didn't know it yet. "Princess Lova, I pledge to you that I will not sever this tie. I will take care of you like the Rose of the North you are, tend to you and your needs, in sickness and in health. I will remain loyal, I have no interest in anyone else. I will fight for you should another challenge for your heart. You have my word." As he promised his loyalty to her and only her, and a smile slowly spread its way across her lips. It was Tarben law that he could claim any woman he wanted, as many as he wanted. He'd chosen her. "I didn't claim you to specifically just impregnate you and leave. I only hope in time you can learn to trust in me, and in that same time we can learn to love each other. After all, we are destined for each other. We do not have to solidify anything tonight if you don't want to. If you'd rather we get to know each other first I'd be more than happy to. Do you happen to have a den in these lands, or should I make one for us? Lova took a deep breath, feeling her belly stir with butterflies. She wanted nothing more than to trust in him completely - but it would take time. She'd seen so many broken families. She didn't want to become that with Kublai. The womans ears flicked to him, eyes meeting his. His soft voice still echoed in her mind. "Thank you, Kublai. I.. There isn't anything I could ask for. That's all I wish." She murmured, standing and looking around, attempting to find a good place to put their den. "In all honesty, I hadn't made one yet. I've spend every night under the stars, hoping for the safety of Tarben. This war took a lot out of us and theres still plenty of healing for me to do for my fellow members. Several injuries. Severeal deaths. My sister perished in the war, unable to defend herself against the mobs that raged against her." Lova whispered the last part, shaking it off and gazing to Kublai once again. "I would like to build a den with you. A home for us. I would like to trust in you. It will take time, but as you said we are destined for one another. All I ask is it's in a good place where I can see the stars. They remind me of those we've lost." The Princess asked, hoping Kublai would take her words seriously. She might be interested in solidifying their partnership - that's what Beartooth and Soraya would want. Lova had always wanted children, she'd wanted those kids running around her. Most imporantly, she wanted this life with Kublai.
