Had her mother not noticed her wander off during the meeting? Two more females approached the meeting and Athena had introduced her children, almost as if it were routine and her mother had expected her to be there. That was not the case. Not much time had passed since the meeting when little Vryko heard a howl from the border, calling for Athena, her mother. The little lass of white with brown brindling snuck her way closer to the call, keeping herself somewhat hidden amongst the reeds of the swampy lands of Sindri. Soon enough, her mother reported to the call. ”You’re speaking to the queen of Sindri. What is the message?” and without much of a pause, more words came out of her mother’s maw, this time more irritated. The flames that suddenly sprouted from mom’s back made this evident too. ”Speak fast. I don’t have all day.” Vryko turned her ears to listen to the male’s message, not paying attention to his peacock feathers. "My apologies. I am Kublai, Iota of Tarben. I was sent with a message on behalf of Tarbens Delta, Wendigo, and Tarbens King, Beartooth. Wendigo and Beartooth seek the immediate release of the Delta sired children you possess to be brought safely to Tarben with me. He states you knew the arrangement on the night of conception and had time to both plan accordingly to pick your heir, as well as they should be done nursing by now. He and his mate would like very much to welcome them home with visitation available to you still should you wish, as per the alliance. I am here to collect the children. Wendigo is very excited to meet them." Vryko’s eyes widened – although she still had little knowledge of the world, these words from Kublai made all the puzzle pieces fit together. Without much thought afterwards, Vryko came bounding out of the reeds into the sight of both Kublai and Athena. "Hi Kublai! I’m one of the queen’s daughters! My name is Vryko! I would like to go meet my father!” Her gaze then turned to Athena, her amber eyes practically begging and her jaw partially open, exposing her baby vampire teeth. Little Vryko did not quite understand the rules of the alliance, however, she had understood that the pups that were not to be made the next ruler were to go with their father. Athena had mentioned Vryko becoming the theta of Sindri, but that was the opposite of what she wanted to do. Having vampire blood course through her, she knew she was best fitted for combat, even if she had not quite developed that desire for blood. Actions &"Words"
locked far away from her unknown father Vryko
