Breathing Your Last Breath
The absolute anxiety she had in her chest when her words loomed in the air - She was asking Remus, her mate, to bring children into the world with her. All she could hope for is that her children would be able to live life. Something beautiful, without fear or sadness. Her icy eyes darted to her mate, before looking back to her paws briefly. As he spoke, they wandered up to him once more. “Artemis, my love, I would like children, I think you would be a wonderful parent, too. And even if I didn’t know the ropes, you do. There are also others to help us out, and I’m reassured by the fact that you are the gentlest, most perfect woman to be a mother I have ever known.”
Her eyes lit up, and the anxiety she felt dissipated. A smile curled her lips, he was interested. And even more so he thought she'd make a wonderful mother. “I want to give you anything you need and want, and my sister could use some new joy in her life. I think children sounds like a wonderful idea. Imagine a pair of little Artemises running around, and a tiny me, and maybe a mini half-me half-you. We’re in for a ride if they’re anything like my sister and I were when we were young.” The Goddess gave a soft laugh, shaking her head. "A tiny us would be amazing, surely they'd get into who knows what commotion. It seems perfect that there's a baby boom going on in Sabertooth as is, so they'd have friends as well." She said. "Daneliya would likely be very happy, from what I've gathered she likes children. Nieces and nephews would be amazing for her."
She rose to her paws, and began to slowly walk to her den, turning her crown of thorns to look at Remus. "Perhaps we share a den tonight, and see what comes of it?" She grinned at him before slipping into their den.
fade in, fade out . . .
Her snow white body moved to lay down as she caught her breath, finding hope and something more to look forward to. Children, she could only hope she'd be pregnant from this night. Her icy eyes looked to her mate, a smile still on her face. "Is it too early to be thinking of names?" She giggled, hoping he'd lay beside her. If he did, she'd rest her head on his shoulder. "I really like the name Selene, for a girl, perhaps Helena? For a boy, maybe Aegaeon or Lux?" She smiled softly at him.
