As Artemis giggled, an exhausted Remus lay beside her, already cooled by the wintry chill. “I think Selene sounds wonderful. What do you think of Tyche, my darling?” He shifted his back legs to a more comfortable position. “As for Helena and Aegaeon: I rather like those; I’m not so sure about Lux. I think one of our sons could be a little Lupin.” He grinned at her, excited to have a family. “I can’t believe we’re doing this; I’m so excited for our children. Artemis, I love you. I can’t imagine a more wonderful woman to bring children into the world with. I just wanted you to know that.” He’d probably keep reminding her of that every week. Just to be sure, maybe every other day.
“Nellie is going to be so happy,” he murmured, laying his head onto Artemis gently. “She was very excited when we were made betas, she couldn’t leave me alone about it for the first several hours.” Daneliya had been extremely proud; Chickadee and Snowflake too. Derevko, as always, was an indifferent recluse.
He looked at Artemis, the woman he loved-his pretty goddess, his sweet mate. He was too happy to put words to the feeling. All he knew was that he wanted to help her in any way possible, ease whatever discomfort this pregnancy threw at her, and stay with her forever.
