We owned a general store in a small community....and I saw many spend their food stamps on pop and potatoe chips...because they said they couldn't afford apples and potatoes....and only rich people don't have to cook and that isn't fair!!.....etc., etc., etc!
The best one was later was a welfare mother told me (who has 4 children) I am a stay at home mother, because I care about my kids! LOLOLOL How many working mothers would like to have time to particiipate in their children's lives???? BUT, have to work!!
