Well done, Dara.
History cannot be changed. It must be embraced to the extent we can learn from it. But the first step is understanding it. As someone who had ancestors on the Mayflower and also ancestors on the shores to greet them when they arrived, I find it quite silly for those living today to attempt to weaponize history in a blatant attempt to extort “things” from others based on things that may or may not have happened generations ago.
