I've followed a lot of this, and can vaguely understand the feeling of loss from his musical (and climbing) situation as well as the desire to hold Christian religious beliefs (which I did for many years).

It's a shame to see even religion co-opted by the Trumpsters. It's why I'm only partially joking when I refer to Trump as the Antichrist.
