Because I can think of one poor kid on the chopping block next year if so.

But the club can deal with the monster they have created

As always this is NOT a big deal, it's not real drama, and I am more amused than anything else.
Remember mom that got her son switched to the supposedly better team? They have lost every single indoor game and our team has won them all. She complained about the schedule and got a few games switched. Now one of the switched games has a conflict for their 4 worst players (9 total per team)...so this weekend she wants to switch our 4 best players for their 4 worst players.
Lo freakin l. The coach shut it down, but that cracks me up.

Apparently it's "stay to play", so the team has to have at least 8 rooms booked from the official tournament hotel block. There's more than 8 families and the tournament hotel is both not cheap AND far away from the tournament site.
RIP the team manager parent's text inbox, she's already hearing from people that dont want to use the official hotel. Also, only 3 kids from the B team were invited to attend, despite more than 3 occasionally subbing with A team.
