No associates really helping anyone, because they are too understaffed. And it's just a cacophony of noise and you can't really hear anything for yourself (though the acoustic area is always a bit quieter). We're lucky to have some pretty good local shops around here. I've found some gems at a little place in downtown Lincolnton which is about 40 minutes from Charlotte. There is a great shop in the Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte but they are usually more expensive. I usually just go there whenever I need info more than wanting to actually buy something.
