yeah yeah doom gloom, blah blah blah but the anecdotes out there on social media, reddit, local news, etc are already pretty bad. Small businesses just getting hammered with huge bills already, especially those dealing with stuff from Canada but also those just now getting the China hit. These businesses are going to have to pull back - on purchases, on hours for employees, on everything. I think the pull back in the normal economy is gonna happen faster than people think. And, because this is all being driven by an irrational actor who changes his mind and messaging daily, they won't feel confident expanding money or operations for months even if things do change |
