I also don't agree that she has not been right with her figures, it is well known that she said all the way back in 2012 that if the world continued their over-reliance on Brazil to keep coming up with the supply to meet new demand, sooner or later a weather disaster would lead to a disaster in the supply chain, and with the frosts last year that in deed seems to be happening, also Columbia and Honduras and Peru are having problems with lower crops because of weather.
And many of her followers including many in the trade, agree with her that she was the only one who projected the flowering for the 2022 would not lead to a good crop because of stress and she was right. She also insisted that arabica crop would be lower in 2022 than in 2021, and according to most of the figures she has been right, even when a lot of people here and in the trade continues to criticize her in not very nice terms, but she has the guts to stick to her believes based on what she sees on the ground. Rabobank said production would skyrocket all over the world because of the high prices after the frost and that the flowering in Brazil would bring a record crop in 2022, and in the end they just say, hey we were wrong and it didn't materialize, how come noone speaks of that? How can anyone even believe Rabobank again?
