I'm truly sorry for your loss Mazru, very painful indeed. I don't know the particulars of the ambulance response in this case but I do know how incredibly hard Jeanne and her crew have worked to provide this service when none was available before. It's unfortunate that all the funding comes from donations with little help from the municipal or state authorities. I think all the pieces are in place...except for stable funding.
I believe that the service is presently saving more lives than there would be without it.
Once again, I'm so sorry for the loss of your close friend.
