Re: Unreliable ambulance!
My dear Mazinka, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd like to clear up some confusion about the ambulance, though. It was not out of service. I don't know who told you that. In fact, we went on two calls, both for scorpion stings, that day. I had a message from our dispatcher this morning. Alicia is terribly upset because she is so conscientious and feels somehow responsible. She told me she didn't receive your calls, nor were there any missed calls. The phone is always with her and on, 24/7 and she takes it with her everywhere, but no calls concerning Paul came in. The team is working very hard to increase their professionalism. Chuy is currently attending a "prehospital" training session in Autlan every Saturday for 18 months and is sharing information with the rest of the team. They continue to attend trainings with Pancho every week. They are dedicated! Bottom line, I think the problem is the phone service, not the ambulance service. If a call had come through, Alicia would have dispatched the ambulance. It is certainly not out of service. Yes, we do have a board. If you'd like to contact them, they are Mateo, Paul Zuņiga, and Roberto Contreras. If such a meeting were to occur, the team members should be in attendance as well.
